Day 329: College

After spending four years in Community College I moved on to a four-year College and completed my Bachelor’s degree in two years. I was fortunate enough to be able to transfer most of my credits from my first school to my second even though I changed majors slightly. The classes I took for my Associate’s were a lot of Gen Ed and fun courses, but once I moved on I took more serious ones and built on the foundation I had made. There were quite a few classes that I really enjoyed but they were also practical for after I graduated. I didn’t have as much time as I would’ve liked for extracurricular activities as I had in Community College, but I didn’t mind too much. I was accepted into Lambda Pi Eta the National Communication Honor Society while I was there, which was pretty awesome especially since I never thought I’d get into any honor society. I learned a lot at the College, and I’m so grateful I was able to go there!

Day 329: Thank you Lord for my college and all I learned and the experiences I had there.

What are you thankful for today? Leave a Comment and let me know, I’d love to read it!

  1. Nice to meet another communication studies major! I as well am in lamda pi eta at Rowan University in New Jersey! This is pretty cool I came across your blog we have a few things in common. One of my classes this semester is participatory media and we had to make our own form of social media, so I decided on a blog.http://whatiknownoww.wordpress.com/2013/11/25/guest-blog-post/
