Day 346: 5 Minutes

I’ve been really busy lately and have had trouble finding time to do all the things I need/want to do. That got me thinking today about time, we often try to fill every minute of the day with something so we’re not bored. Then I started thinking about a specific amount of time: 5 minutes. It may seem like a lot of time or very little depending on how you look at it, but in the grand scheme of things it really isn’t that long. Think of all the things you can do in 5 minutes: Stop and rest, listen to or sing a song, read a chapter of the Bible, write a blog post, etc. There are lot’s of things you can do in the space of 5 minutes but we often ignore it or rush through it. I’d like to encourage you to take five minutes today and do something meaningful, it won’t take that long, and you can use the rest!

Day 346: Thank you Lord for 5 minutes, it’s such a short amount of time, but if used effectively it can be meaningful and powerful.

What are you thankful for today? Leave a Comment and let me know, I’d love to read it!
